NATAL

Origem e significado:

CHRISTMAS

Origin and Meaning:

Christmas is a day on which we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. In ancient times, Christmas was celebrated in several different dates because no one knew the exact date of Jesus' birth. It was only in the fourth century that December 25 was established as the official date of celebration. In Ancient Rome, December 25th was the date when the Romans celebrated the beginning of winter. Therefore, it is believed that there is a relationship of this fact with the official celebration of Christmas.

The old Christmas celebrations used to last up to 12 days, as this was the time it took for the three Magi arrive to the city of Bethlehem and deliver the gifts (gold, frankincense and myrrh) to the baby Jesus. Currently, people usually assemble trees and other Christmas decorations in early December and unmount them up to 12 days after Christmas.

From the chronological point of view, Christmas is a date of great importance to the West, as it marks the first year in our history.

The Christmas tree and the Nativity

In almost all countries of the world, people ride Christmas trees to decorate homes and other environments. In conjunction with the Christmas decorations, trees provide a special atmosphere in this period.

It is believed that this tradition began in 1530 in Germany with Martin Luther. One night, while walking through the forest, Luther was impressed with the beauty of the snow-covered pines. The stars in the sky helped compose the image that Luther reproduced with tree branches at his home. Beyond the stars, cotton and whatnot, he used candles to show his family the beautiful scene he had witnessed in the forest.

This tradition was brought to the Americas by some Germans who came to live in America during the colonial period. In Brazil, a country with a Christian majority, Christmas trees are present in many places, because in addition to decorating, symbolizing joy, peace and hope.

The crib also represents an important Christmas decorations. It shows the scene of Jesus' birth, ie, a manger, animals, the Magi and the boy's parents. This tradition of assembling cribs began with St. Francis of Assisi in the thirteenth century.

Santa Claus: origin and tradition

Scholars argue that the figure of the good old man was inspired by a bishop named Nicholas, who was born in Turkey in 280 AD Bishop, good-hearted man, used to help poor people, leaving bags with coins near the chimneys of the houses.

It was transformed into a saint (St. Nicholas) by the Catholic Church, after several people have reported miracles attributed to him.

The association of the image of St. Nicholas to Christmas happened in Germany and spread around the world in a short time. In the United States, was named Santa Claus, Santa Claus in Brazil and Portugal Father Christmas.

BETO CARRERO WORLD

BETO CARRERO, A HERO IS BORN:
There is in Brazil a better example to illustrate the maxim "Not knowing it was impossible, he was there and did" than the story of John the Baptist Sergio Murad, our Beto Carrero.
Poor boy, born in the state of São Paulo, the boy dreamed of being John the Baptist Zorro Brazil and working in an amusement park. Little did he know that his humble dreams would become over the years, and that he would build the largest multi-themed park in the world!
It sertanejo musician, presenter on radio shows, vendor announcements. Built with their entrepreneurship and relentless willpower an advertising agency that became one of the 20 largest in Brazil.
It was such an adventure for editorial and advertising market that was born the character Beto Carrero, a tribute to his father known as Alexandre Carrero, who owns a bullock cart in his hometown.
And it is with that soul of Beto Carrero dreamer who became the hero that thousands of kids want to be.
Beto Carrero World

A DREAM THAT DOES NOT STOP TO GROW:

After a visit to the Disney park in the United States, the dreamer Beto Carrero decided to put their hands to work and build with their own resources the biggest and most amazing multi-themed park in the world. He sold everything he had and bought an area in the municipality of Penha situated on a beautiful stretch of the coast of Santa Catarina. Today, call amusement park Beto Carrero World is to limit the greatness of the enterprise.

Halloween *-*

                                                           Halloween:

                                                                      Halloween:
Halloween (Halloween is the original name in English). It is a traditional and cultural event, which occurs mainly in English-speaking countries, but with particular relevance in the United States, Canada, Ireland and the UK, based on the celebrations and origin of ancient peoples (there are no references whence these celebrations ). The halloween is a kind of pagan celebration of the ancient Celtic people who lived in the territory that comprises England, France and Germany. First was called All Hallows' Even (evening before the day of all saints) and later shortened to Halloween. The symbols present at this celebration are:

Witches: are the main symbols of this festival. The stories tell of witches attending parties held by the devil, which were usually held on April 30 and October 31. This belief came to the United States by their colonizers and from there spread throughout the world, taking many different forms.

Pumpkins and candles: Pumpkins symbolize fertility and wisdom, while the candles are used to light the way of the spirits. Legend has it that the practice of cutting the pumpkin and put a candle inside it appeared the story of Jack, a man who liked to drink and he met the devil the day he drank too much. Smart, the devil imprisoned in various places until the day of both drinking and died. His entry was denied in heaven and hell as well, since the devil humiliated in life. From there the soul of Jack began to wander the world. The pumpkins lit then began to be used by Jack to escape the darkness and light your way.

Black Cat: is a symbol linked to witches, because they can turn into cats. Other superstitions about cats is that these are sources of chance and also are the spirits of dead people.

Trick or treat: it's a joke in existence since the ninth century. During this period people used the "cakes of souls" with simple mass and currant coverage to deliver to children, properly dressed, knocked on doors asking for cakes. In exchange for each piece of cake, the child was committed to pray for the soul of a relative who offered him

Broom: it is a symbol of female power in cleaning everything that brings negative consequences for life, like electricity and negative thoughts.

Bat: symbolizes the vision that goes beyond appearances and gets intimate view of people.

Apple: fruit associated with the gods of love, is used at the party as a symbol of life.

The most commonly used colors halloween party also have meanings that make the difference on the night of the saints:

Orange: color that brings vitality, energy and strength. They believe that the spirits of those who were approached orange to suck your energy.

Black: is the predominant color of wizards, witches, witches and priests of the master of darkness.

Purple: This symbolizes the magic throughout the celebration of Halloween.
