            This song was composed by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, produced by Quincy Jones and recorded on January 28, 1985 at A & M Studios in Hollywood, California.
            In total, 45 of the biggest names in American music. The vocals were divided among 21 singers, including Richie, Jackson, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.
            As might be expected, the album was a huge success, selling over 7.5 million copies in the United States, followed by an album, USA for Africa: We Are The World, which sold over 3 million, and that brought songs by other artists.
