Menino pobre, nascido no interior do estado de São Paulo, o menino João Batista sonhava em ser o Zorro brasileiro e trabalhar em um parque de diversões. Mal sabia ele que seus humildes sonhos se transformariam com os anos, e que ele construiria o maior parque multi-temático do mundo!

Foi músico sertanejo, apresentador em shows de rádio, vendedor de anúncios. Construiu com seu empreendedorismo e incansável força de vontade uma agência de propaganda que chegou a ser uma das 20 maiores do Brasil.

Foi nessa aventura pelo mercado publicitário e editorial que nasceu o personagem Beto Carrero, uma homenagem ao pai conhecido como Alexandre Carrero, dono de um carro de boi na sua cidade natal.

E é com essa alma de sonhador que Beto Carrero se transformou no herói que milhares de crianças querem ser.

após uma visita ao parque da Disney nos Estados Unidos, o sonhador Beto Carrero resolveu colocar as mãos às obras e construir com seus próprios recursos o maior e mais incrível parque multi-temático do mundo. Vendeu tudo que tinha e adquiriu uma área no município de Penha, situado num belo trecho do litoral catarinense. Hoje, chamar de parque de diversões o Beto Carrero World é limitar a grandiosidade do empreendimento.
